Overview

scanSee is an IDL-based data acquisition tool.

- GUI application to browse .mda files or live sscan records
- Uses dataCatcher user interface
- Relies on saveData software in EPICS IOC (VME computer)
- scanSee 3.3 relies on synApps 4.x
- scanSee 3.4.4.13 relies on synApps 5.x
- scanSee is no longer being developed

scanSee is a good candidate for refactoring
