The images below show how a capillary could be prepared for complimentary scattering measurements to be compatible with high throughput sample holders at both beamlines 11-BM (robot loading) and 11-ID-B (linear sample cassette).

In the images below, the '''black colored'''  sections of capillary show where sample powder is required.  <span style="color:red"><B>Red colored</b></span> sections show the location of epoxy or some similar substance to seal the capillary.  


The image below shows a burn of beam shape at the sample position beam with the tightest horizontal focus possible at the sample position.
These images show a capillary with a diameter =  0.0575" (1.46 mm). Contact beamline staff for full details on sample loading & capillary diameters and lengths before preparing your sample for complimentary measurements.

The images below show how a capillary could be prepared for complimentary scattering measurements to be compatible with high throughput sample holders at both beamlines 11-BM (robot loading) and 11-ID-B (linear sample cassette).

In the images below, the black colored sections of capillary show where sample powder is required. Red colored sections show the location of epoxy or some similar substance to seal the capillary.
