User Registration Notes

All APS users (on-site AND mail-in) must complete a registration Form for Access to Argonne National Laboratory's DOE/BES National User Facilities.

Mail-In Users

International users are required to provide passport and citizenship information as part of the registration process. This is required even for users who have no plans to travel to the facility, and will only mail samples to the APS.

Part of the registration asks about VISA information. Citizens of Canada, Mexico, and other countries on the USA visa waiver list can ignore this question. Citizens of non-visa waiver nations who ONLY require mail-in access can select "visa applied for" to complete the registration submission. The APS User Office will then process your registration.
