The Nanoprobe Mirror System is positioned at 30 m from the source. It consists of two horizontally deflecting mirrors. M1a is horizontally focusing. M1b redirects the singly reflected beam back to the undulator axis.

The Mirror System allows change of grazing angle between 2 mrad and 6 mrad. The bender of M1a can be adjusted to focus the beam on the beam defining aperture 10 m downstream of the center of M1a (f = 7.5 m)
